Paint Blaster - 1st Shift

Paint Blaster on 1st Shift performs surface preparation using hand-held or automated blasting equipment to remove scale, rust, oils, and grease, ensuring surfaces are clean and uniform for protective coatings. Responsibilities include mixing and meters blasting media, applying masking to protect critical surfaces, moving materials, completing quality-control documentation, working safely, and participating in training and development of personnel. Respirator training and usage are required; role involves standing, kneeling, and working from elevated surfaces, with ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Starting pay is $19.00-$25.48 per hour with benefits, tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 annually, and a company bonus plan.
