Paint Assistant - Weekend Shift - Aerospace

Job Summary
Paint Assistant supports aerospace painting operations on aircraft components, preparing surfaces (cleaning, sanding, priming), mixing paints and coatings, performing viscosity tests, maintaining tools and workspace, and conducting quality checks to meet industry standards. Requires on-site training with a 3-week ramp, ability to follow safety procedures, assist with materials/methods, and coordinate with painters. Weekend shift availability and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a manufacturing environment are expected. On-site in Tulsa, OK; high school diploma or GED and aerospace/industrial painting experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Previous experience in an aerospace, automotive, or industrial painting environment
- Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, and coatings used in the aerospace industry
- Experience with spray painting equipment and techniques
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance
- Professional verbal and written communication skills (English)
