Job Summary
Monitor pain severity and timing in patients to ensure effective treatment, then communicate with families and maintain notes for abuse or symptom tracking. Coordinate care across multiple medical facilities and assist with staffing needs to maintain continuity. Help maintain procedural flow, ensure accountability within the nursing staff, and foster a culture of learning and safety. This Registered Nurse role requires conscious sedation certification within six months, BLS and ACLS, and one year of Idaho RN experience. Mountain View Hospital serves the Snake River Valley with 29 affiliate clinics offering comprehensive care from wound care to robotic surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Idaho
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Conscious sedation course certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to calculate correct medication doses using necessary formulas
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
