Job Summary
Conduct routine check-ups to assess patient health conditions and discover possible issues. Provide advice on healthy habits including diet and hygiene to promote overall wellness. Examine ill patients, evaluate symptoms, and ask targeted questions to determine underlying causes. Reach informed diagnoses based on scientific knowledge and medical history. Prescribe medications, interpret lab tests for infections or abnormalities, and provide comprehensive administration instructions. Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and nurses to form a high-performing medical team. Examine injuries, provide treatments, and refer patients to specialists as needed. Keep detailed records of diseases, operations, and significant patient information. Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion while remaining up-to-date with medical developments through conferences and seminars. Requires an MD degree, valid license, and strong diagnostic knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a physician
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
- Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Respect for patient's confidentiality
- Compassionate and approachable
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid license to practice the profession
