Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant to join Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include global management of patients with pain conditions, conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, coordinating referrals to physical therapy and interventional services, educating patients and families on options and lifestyle modifications, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with regulations. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies/Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification required
- Previous experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
