Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant provides comprehensive pain management through evaluations, develops and implements individualized treatment plans integrating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizes interventional procedures and referrals (including physical therapy), educates patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle modifications, conducts follow-up to monitor efficacy, and maintains accurate documentation compliant with healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification required
- Previous experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
