Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant with a Master’s degree and current NP licensure or NCCPA certification, based in Poughkeepsie, NY (medical practice division within Nuvance/Northwell network). Performs global management of pain conditions, conducts thorough histories and exams, develops individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizes modalities including medications, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies; educates patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle modifications; schedules follow-ups and maintains compliant documentation; M-F, competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with focus on NP studies OR Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management, palliative care, or related field preferred
