Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant sought to conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with pain, develop individualized treatment plans, manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, coordinate interventional and referral-based care, and educate patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle modifications. Responsible for ongoing follow-ups, documentation compliant with healthcare regulations, and contributing to a multidisciplinary Neurosciences/Joints approach within an academic medical setting in New York. The role emphasizes medication management, patient education, and collaboration with specialists to improve quality of life for patients with pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Previous experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
