Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant to join the Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Global management of patients with pain conditions, thorough evaluations, development of individualized treatment plans, and utilization of modalities for pain relief including medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies. Educate patients and families about options, coping strategies, and lifestyle modifications; schedule follow-up appointments to monitor treatment efficacy; maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
