Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant needed in the Neurosciences Pain Management program at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include global management of patients with pain conditions, conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans combining pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizing modalities such as medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies; educating patients and families, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining compliant documentation. Requires Master's degree in Nursing or PA Studies and licensure/certification (NP or NCCPA). M-F schedule; compensation commensurate with experience and benefits including CME allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies OR Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
