Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant role within the Neurosciences Department evaluating patients with pain conditions, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, utilizing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, coordinating interventional procedures and referrals, educating patients and families on pain management options, and maintaining thorough documentation; M-F schedule with competitive compensation and benefits in the Vassar Brothers Medical Center/Nuvance Health system in the Hudson River region.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
