Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant role in the Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include global management of patients with pain conditions, conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies), utilizing modalities such as medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies, educating patients and families about pain management options and lifestyle modifications, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations. M-F, with a competitive compensation package and benefits; located at Vassar Brothers Medical Center as part of Nuvance Health/Northwell Health network.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Previous experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
