Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant provides global management of pain conditions within the Neurosciences Department. Conducts thorough patient evaluations, develops and implements individualized treatment plans combining pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizes modalities including medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies; educates patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle modifications; schedules and conducts follow-up visits; maintains compliant documentation of assessments, plans, and outcomes; works a Monday-to-Friday schedule at Vassar Brothers Medical Center as part of Nuvance Health/Northwell Health integration; location highlights include Hudson River setting and affiliation with major health systems.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Current NP licensure or NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management or related field preferred
