Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant in the Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Global management of patients with pain conditions; conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations; develop and implement individualized treatment plans using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies; utilize modalities for pain relief including medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies; educate patients and families about pain management options, coping strategies, and lifestyle modifications; schedule and conduct follow-up appointments; maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with healthcare regulations. M-F schedule. License/certification requirements as noted; new graduates encouraged to apply; competitive compensation and benefits package offered.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current NP licensure and certification in relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
