Job Summary
Pain Management Physician Assistant needed to join the Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include managing patients with pain conditions, conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizing interventional procedures and referrals (physical therapy, etc.), educating patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle modifications, conducting follow-ups to monitor treatment efficacy, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Schedule is M-F. Salary range $120,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Prior experience in pain management, palliative care, or related field preferred
