Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant sought for established pain management practice in Pinole, CA. Responsibilities include managing a diverse patient population with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and pain disorders; performing interventional pain management procedures; developing tailored care plans combining medication management with alternative therapies; interpreting imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CTs); and documenting care. Requires CA NP license, national certification (AANP/ANCC/NCCPA), and DEA license; experience with workers’ compensation and Medicare FFS enrollment; fellowship-trained pain physician supervision. Compensation is $170,000–$195,000 annually DOE. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years or more of clinical experience in pain management
- Graduate of an accredited NP program
- Current and unrestricted NP license in California
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Active and unrestricted DEA license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with workers’ compensation cases is required
- Enrolled as a Medicare FFS provider
- Competency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic pain
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based pain management guidelines and regulations
- Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills
