Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner role in the Neurosciences Department providing global management of patients with pain conditions. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies), utilizing modalities such as medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies, educating patients and families on pain options and lifestyle modifications, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations. The position is a Monday-to-Friday role based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, with a compensation package that includes benefits and CME allowances; located along the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, NY.
