Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join the Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsible for global management of patients with pain conditions, comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizing modalities for pain relief (medication management, PT referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies), educating patients and families, coordinating follow-up, and maintaining compliant documentation. M-F schedule; employed within a major academic-affiliated health system with a focus on quality care, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
