Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner role in the Neurosciences Department focusing on global management of patients with pain conditions, conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans with pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizing interventional procedures and referrals, educating patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle changes, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining compliant documentation, Monday–Friday in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies/Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification required
- Previous experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in Pain Management, Family, or Adult; or NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management or related field; new graduates welcome
