Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner in the Neurosciences Department — conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with pain conditions, develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, coordinate referrals for interventional procedures and physical therapy, educate patients and families on pain management options, schedule follow-ups, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. M-F position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center/Nuvance Health, located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing with NP focus, current NP licensure/certification or NCCPA certification, and preferred experience in pain management or palliative care; new graduates welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with NP focus
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
