Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner sought to lead global management of patients with pain conditions in the Neurosciences Department. Responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, coordinating care across modalities (medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies), educating patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle modifications, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining compliant documentation. Requires NP licensure and master’s-level nursing degree; new graduates welcomed. M-F schedule. Located at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Salary range $120,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience and benefits with CME allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management or related field preferred
