Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner opportunity in the Neurosciences Department focusing on comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with pain. Responsibilities include conducting thorough medical histories and exams, developing individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizing modalities such as medication management, referrals for physical therapy, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies; educating patients and families on pain management options and lifestyle changes; scheduling and conducting follow-ups; and maintaining compliant documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with NP studies or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current NP licensure and certification in relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
