Job Summary
Pain Management Nurse Practitioner sought for the Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include global management of patients with pain conditions, conducting comprehensive evaluations (history and physical), developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, utilizing modalities such as medication management, referrals for physical therapy, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies; educate patients and families on options and lifestyle modifications; schedule and conduct follow-ups; maintain accurate documentation per healthcare regulations. M-F position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center with competitive compensation and benefits; licensed NP with a relevant specialty and Master’s degree required. Located along the Hudson River with affiliation to Nuvance Health/Northwell Health network.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pain Management, Family, or Adult) or NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management or related field preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
