Job Summary
Oversee Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants delivering mobile and telemedicine pain management services across Wyoming. Provide physician oversight for up to eight full-time NP/PA providers, ensuring quality of care, appropriate prescribing practices, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Review patient documentation, guide providers on evidence-based protocols including medication management and non-opioid therapies, and support individualized treatment planning for geriatric and medically complex patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, and home care settings. Participate in monthly provider meetings and collaborate on quality improvement initiatives. No in-person requirements, nights, or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Active MD or DO license in Wyoming
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, or related specialty
- Active DEA registration in good standing
- Medicare-enrolled provider
- No in-person requirements, nights, or weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supervising NPs/PAs and/or telemedicine providers preferred
- Experience working with geriatric, chronic pain, palliative, or post-acute care populations preferred
- Strong understanding of safe opioid prescribing and multidisciplinary pain management approaches
