Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with acute or chronic pain conditions by developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and performing procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, and epidural steroid injections. Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage medication and implement non-pharmacologic and behavioral interventions. Maintain active medical licensure and utilize electronic medical records systems while working independently within a full-time on-site environment. This role offers a clear path to partnership with upward mobility across multiple locations including Paducah, KY, and Greenville, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients with acute or chronic pain conditions
- Medication management
- Experience in performing procedures such as injections or nerve blocks, nerve ablation, selective nerve root block, intracept, MILD, epidural steroid injections, viscosupplementation for knee pain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience in a variety of pain management techniques, including non-pharmacologic and behavioral interventions
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Kentucky, or eligibility to obtain one
