Job Summary

Maintain a safe ski area by mitigating natural and human-made hazards, managing signage, and performing incident investigations. Provide medical care to injured guests, document treatments professionally, and respond to emergencies including search and rescue, chairlift evacuations, and avalanche hazards. Operate snowmobiles, trucks, and other machinery while shoveling snow and working in deep snow, icy, or wet conditions. Full-time (35+ hours/week) preferred with seasonal flexibility from May-September for bike or November-April for ski. Requires EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification with Idaho licensing, CPR/AED, and advanced skiing/biking ability.

Required Qualifications

  • EMT, AEMT, Paramedic with the ability to license in Idaho (OEC applicants may also be considered)
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Advanced skiing/biking ability. The ability to safely and skillfully ski/bike and transport a guest in a toboggan/litter down expert terrain in an expeditious manner
  • Ability to read and to write legibly and effectively to complete records and report forms
  • Must be aware of or learn the resort terrain and facilities
  • Must be well groomed and present a good public image
  • Good physical condition as this position requires skiing/biking, hiking, shoveling, lifting and carrying
  • Willingness to work during extreme weather conditions
  • Safety oriented

Desired Qualifications

  • Full-time (35+ hours/wk). Part-time may be available for exceptionally qualified applicants
