Job Summary
Paid Ads Designer at IMPACT's Swell agency owns end-to-end ad creative from concept to final assets for Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. Leads the design strategy, creates first drafts, manages revision cycles, and oversees an AI-assisted production pipeline. Collaborates with the Head of Paid Media and contract design/video talent to ensure client-ready output, quality control for offshore/freelance work, and organized asset hygiene. Focuses on data-driven, conversion-focused creative with strong written and verbal communication to explain decisions and align with clients.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years designing digital ad creative (agency or in-house performance marketing)
- A portfolio of direct-response work with proven results
- Deep understanding of branding & digital buyer psychology
- Advanced proficiency in: Adobe Photoshop, Google Workspace
- Fluency in Figma
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & Creatopy / The Brief or a comparable ad production platform is a plus
- Comfort attending video calls and talking strategy with clients
- Meticulous attention to detail (typos, alignment, brand compliance)
- Strong written communication; you'll explain creative decisions to clients and teammates in writing daily
- You can take direct feedback, give direct feedback, and hold a quality bar with contractors without drama
- You’re a voracious learner and consistently focus on your personal development
- Excellent time management skills
- AI & Automation: We strongly prefer designers who already use (or are eager to use) AI-assisted image generation or enhancement
- Bonus: Scriptwriting & video editing skills
- Experience inside an EOS, Traction, or ScalingUp company
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, Google Analytics, or other reporting tools
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) inside daily ops workflows
