Job Summary
Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist (Band 6) required for school-based role across two sites in Morden, Surrey. Ongoing contract, four days per week (7.5 hours/day with a 30-minute break). Responsibilities include independent dysphagia assessments in a school setting, early-years communication assessments, delivering targeted provision, EHCP reviews, supporting children with a range of communication needs and disabilities, assisting pupils using AAC and devices (especially in early years), and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. HCPC registration is required, with paediatric dysphagia training/experience and experience with AAC/communication aids essential. The role involves working across two school sites, providing specialist support within a school environment and contributing to care plans and assessments within EHCP processes.
