Job Summary
Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist in Scotland (Band 6/7). Manage a varied paediatric community caseload of children and young people with communication and language difficulties, providing specialist assessment, intervention, and advice tailored to individual needs. Liaise with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care, while maintaining high-quality clinical records in line with HCPC and NHS policies. Contribute to service planning and best-practice development within a multidisciplinary team. Holy commitment to person-centred care and autonomy within a collaborative team. Flexible role with either full-time or part-time consideration in a community setting across home, educational, and community environments.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Current HCPC registration
- Proven experience working with a paediatric caseload, ideally in a community setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
