Job Summary
Paediatric Healthcare Assistant position in Atherton, Greater Manchester. You will provide care to a young child with complex needs in school and at home, including travel support with a mobility van. Key duties include medical support such as suctioning, PEG feeding, and medication administration; epilepsy management; personal care and mobility assistance; support for learning and engagement in classroom; and collaboration with teachers, healthcare professionals, and family to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. You’ll work 2:1 with the child, bringing a warm, empathetic, team-first approach. Required: experience with children; NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in health care is desirable; UK work authorisation.
