Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer hauling hazardous, corrosive, and oil products for the Paducah, Kentucky chemical division. Manage weekly home time with typical overnight trips, including occasional weekend resets. Maintain a clean driving record by adhering to strict safety protocols regarding speeding, reckless driving, and DUI convictions. Hold a valid Hazmat and Tank endorsement, TWIC card, and successfully complete required DOT physicals, drug screens, and online orientation. Prioritize safety compliance and vehicle maintenance while transporting regulated materials across the region.
Required Qualifications
- 23 years of age
- 2-years verifiable Class A driving experience
- Maximum of 1 moving violation in the past 3 years CMV or Personal auto
- Non-prohibited status – D&A Clearinghouse
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Tank endorsement required
- Must have a TWIC card
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Must pass a DOT drug screen
- Successfully complete online training + orientation
- No serious moving violations in previous 5-years speeding 15+ over, reckless driving, use of handheld devices while driving CMV and Personal auto as examples
- No DUI convictions – previous 10- years
- No preventable DOT collisions in the previous 3 years
