Job Summary
Conduct daily scuba instruction and dive operations for guests at Salterra Resort in South Caicos, adhering to PADI OWSI and EFR standards. Manage nitrox and compressor operations while ensuring safety in remote environments. Lead additional nature tours including kayaking, snorkeling, and whalewatching. Commit to a one-year contract with full-time or seasonal availability. Maintain professional appearance and follow all company policies regarding asset protection and confidentiality. Perform physical duties involving standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 100 pounds with assistance. Join a Luxury Collection team dedicated to authentic hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- PADI OWSI and EFR Instructor
- 1+ years of teaching experience
- Willingness to commit to a 1-year contract
- Fluent in English
- Safety conscious
- Comfortable teaching in remote environments
- Boating experience
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed boat captain
- Nitrox and compressor operator experience
- Interest in leading other nature tours including but not limited to kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, whalewatching, etc.
