Pad Mount Inspection Foreman - Midwest

Job Summary
Oversee inspection, maintenance, and restoration of utility infrastructure with direct supervision of field crews. Supervise and coordinate daily field operations, perform and guide inspection of energized underground electrical service boxes and manholes, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Lead a crew of at least two, manage timekeeping and data submission, organize resources to meet deadlines, and maintain professional customer relations. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel; extensive safety compliance training and ability to operate and train others in equipment and software as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to supervise a crew of at least two employees
- Valid state driver’s license with no DUI/DWI convictions in the last five years
- First Aid/CPR certifications or ability to maintain them
- Possibly pesticide applicator license and DOT medical exam as required
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with data collection devices/tablets
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, rate, ratio, percentage)
- Ability to read maps and follow complex procedures and specifications
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather; physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Willingness to travel (overnight and/or extended travel) as needed
- Experience or training in supervisory/foreman roles
- Compliance with safety, quality, and company policies
- Possession or ability to obtain necessary certifications for job duties
