PACU RN

PACU RN responsible for providing direct professional nursing care in the Short Stay Unit PACU, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices, and maintaining a safe patient care environment. The role involves promoting the health and well-being of patients and families through the care continuum using the nursing process, adhering to department/hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. Requires clinical, managerial, communication, and teaching skills, the ability to handle stress and react to emergencies, and commitment to quality care. Shifts are 12 hours. Location: Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
