Job Summary
PACU RN PRN position in Key West, FL providing comprehensive post-anesthesia care across multiple specialties. Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring vitals and devices, supporting anesthesia and surgical teams, ensuring patient safety, and educating patients and families about post-operative care. Requires strong nursing process knowledge, ability to perform thorough assessments, medication administration with monitoring for side effects, infection-control practices, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Licensure as an RN with state or compact license; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. 0-2 years clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care; opportunity to work in a dynamic perioperative setting with various RN roles (Cardiac, Endoscopy, NICU, Telemetry, Dialysis, Cath Lab) as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
