Job Summary
PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from the operating room to discharge. Delivers safe post-anesthesia care, monitors vital signs, administers medications as ordered, coordinates nursing interventions, ensures readiness for discharge, and maintains documentation with EMR. Requires RI licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS; on-site coverage in Warwick, RI per diem shifts (7:00 am–5:30 pm).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current RI State Licensure
- BLS & ACLS and PALS Required
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- HIPAA and OSHA compliance
