PACU RN Part Time - Nightshift

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation while coordinating care through interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reports. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care to adults and children, adapting service delivery to cultural diversity and population-specific needs. Document safe, quality patient care timely and collaborate on performance improvement activities, research utilization, and protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Mentor staff and students as a preceptor to ensure a qualified workforce. Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and complete all mandatory education within 180 days. Work night shifts in a fast-paced environment requiring decisive, composed emergency response and strong critical thinking skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS
- Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days)
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days)
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Minimum 5 years Patient Care as RN
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
