PACU RN Part Time - Nightshift

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient care assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations within the PACU environment while coordinating interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews. Implement evidence-based practice standards, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and mentor staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Maintain timely documentation, support shared governance activities, and collaborate on protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Requires 5+ years of RN patient care experience, ACLS/PALS certification, and proficiency in English and clinical technology. Night shift part-time role at Wellstar Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS
- Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days)
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days)
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Minimum 5 years Patient Care as RN
- Ability to read, write and speak English language

- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
