PACU RN Part Time - Nightshift

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the PACU during night shifts. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside teaching to ensure safe, individualized patient care while documenting outcomes. Partner with families and the care team to set goals and address cultural diversity, utilizing evidence-based practice to improve outcomes and reduce re-admissions. Mentor staff and students, participate in shared governance activities, and develop protocols to support performance improvement. Maintain ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and complete required competency assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Minimum 5 years Patient Care as RN
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
