PACU RN Part Time - Nightshift

Job Summary

Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice to ensure safe, individualized patient care in the PACU. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while documenting care timely. Partner with patients and families for bedside teaching and goal-focused care plans. Lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and shared governance activities. Mentor staff and students to support workforce development. Maintain ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications while completing mandatory education. Function in a fast-paced night shift environment with 5+ years of RN patient care experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
  • BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
  • PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
  • RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
  • Minimum 5 years Patient Care as RN
  • Ability to read, write and speak English language
