PACU RN Part Time

Conduct post-anesthesia care and discharge teaching, evaluating patient readiness while collaborating with anesthesiologists and surgeons. Facilitate patient management in the surgical center, assist with pre-op assessments, and plan interoperative nursing care. Delegate duties to competent personnel, document patient records clearly, and report adverse events as appropriate. Maintain open communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians while adhering to HIPAA and regulatory policies. Requires BLS and ACLS certification, Massachusetts RN license, and familiarity with electronic medical systems.
