Job Summary
PACU RN responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Performs responsibilities across five nursing practice areas—clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership and professional development—while directing and coordinating nursing care per American Nursing Association standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Relocation benefits available and housing allowance provided; position requires Florida RN licensure and BLS, with 2 years OR/PACU/Pre-Op hospital experience preferred. Day and night shifts with night differential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- License: Currently licensed in the State of Florida, Compact RN or willingness to obtain prior to relocating.
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
- Experience: Must have 2 years of OR, PACU, Pre-Op experience in a hospital setting, PACU exp. of 1-2 years Preferred
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
