Job Summary
PACU RN needed to provide post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment. Responsibilities include assessing patients emerging from anesthesia, managing airways and hemodynamics, controlling pain, and ensuring safe transitions to next care level or discharge. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams; maintains accurate documentation and upholds safety and infection control standards. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
- PACU or post-anesthesia care experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification likely required
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team
- Strong documentation and safety/infection control adherence
