PACU RN

Assess post-operative patients' consciousness and responsiveness, evaluate pain levels, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring for anesthesia side effects. Monitor intravenous fluids, regulate fluid balance, check surgical wound dressings, and maintain a clear airway with oxygen support as needed. Respond to medical emergencies, including CPR and code team activities, and collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans. Provide patient and family education on post-surgery care, potential complications, and discharge instructions while adhering to infection control protocols. Participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Work full-time, Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm at Baldwin Health, with up to $20k student loan contribution and comprehensive benefits.
