Job Summary
Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients recovering from anesthesia while administering medications and treatments as ordered. Deliver direct nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a collaborative surgical environment, communicating patient status changes with the surgical team and educating families on recovery and discharge planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout the shift. Full-time days schedule with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities. Requires active RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and minimum one year PACU experience. Join a respected community hospital serving Northern New Mexico for over 70 years.
