Job Summary
PACU RN for Los Alamos Medical Center provides direct and indirect patient care following anesthesia and surgical procedures in a 47-bed acute care hospital. Responsible for assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, monitoring stability, and rapidly responding to changes in condition. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary care teams; reports directly to the Director of Surgery. Includes Full-Time Day Shift with rotating weekends, on-call and holiday coverage; opportunity with up to $30,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Ideal candidate will have strong post-operative assessment skills, comfort managing changing patient conditions, and a team-oriented communication style.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing Required
- Active and Unencumbered RN License Required
- Current BLS Certification Required
- Minimum One Year PACU Experience Required
- PALS Certification Required Within 3 Months of Hire
