Job Summary
PACU & Med Surgery RN responsible for direct professional perianesthesia nursing care across the age continuum, including pre- and post-operative care, following nursing process to direct or provide high-quality patient care, and supervising PACU/pre-operative staff. Requires collaboration with Medical Staff, adherence to standards and policies, and demonstrating strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting. Must hold an active Michigan RN license, have an Associate degree in nursing, and obtain ACLS within 60 days of hire, with BCLS already current. Night shift (7P-7A) and weekend availability required; weekend preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, 401K with matching, and disability/life insurance. Required Qualifications
- An Associate degree from a school of nursing is required
- Current licensure in the State of Michigan
- Current BCLS certification
- Registered Nurse has 60 days from date of hire to obtain ACLS certification
