Job Summary
The PACS Administrator is responsible for conducting daily monitoring of Radiology imaging access, ensuring all staff can access patient images, and implementing solutions for recurrent problems. Responsibilities include ensuring proper image labeling and transfer, acting as a liaison between Radiology Services, medical staff, and IT, and troubleshooting PACS system issues. This role requires two years of direct experience in Health Information Technology or Radiology PACS, along with an Associate's degree in a relevant field and a certification in PACS administration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Health Information Technology (HIT) and/or Radiology PACS systems
- Certification as a PACS Associate (CPAS) or Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP)
Additional Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted insurable driver's license
- Navajo/Indian Preference in Employment Policy
