Job Summary
Remove chilled product from the line, place correct number of pouches into cases, and ensure cases receive date codes, labels, and proper taping. Inspect product pouches and cases for damage, pin holes, bad seals, or incorrect coding. Construct, stamp, and label boxes as necessary while maintaining batch segregation by completing one batch before moving to the next. Ensure finished product remains within acceptable temperature ranges and keep the work area clean by sweeping, removing trash, and clearing inedible items. Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines. Requires HS Diploma, ability to stand, stoop, lift 20-40 lbs, and work in cold or hot warehouse environments during an 8-hour shift. Allergen training required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Be able to stoop, bend and climb steps
- Be able to Lift 20-40 lbs
- Be able to work in warehouse environment that may be cold or hot, depending on season during 8 hour shift
- Basic literacy skills (English) – to read product code information
- Allergen training required
