Job Summary
Pack finished product to customer specifications by folding cartons, placing items, sealing, labeling, and affixing identification data. Record damaged goods factors and ensure cores are the proper length. Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation while wearing all required PPE and complying with safety policies. Work Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm for 40+ hours per week, with potential overtime and Saturday work. Handle lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and operate near moving mechanical parts in a loud, air-conditioning-free environment. Pass a skills-based test and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a skills-based test
- Must pass company background check and drug screen
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Color vision
- Peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
- Work environment is without air conditioning
- Must be available for 1st shift Monday – Friday 5:00 am -1:00 pm
- 40+ hours per week
- Some overtime may require through the week
- Occasionally on Saturdays
- Must wear all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must comply with safety policies and procedures
- Must accept feedback from the Team Leader
- Must maintain a clean, clutter free workstation
- Must work in a safe manner
- Must be able to participate in a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Minimum of three (3) months related experience
